We worked closely with the creative team at Guerrilla during the early stages of development on their game Horizon Forbidden West to define a design language for elements that would span the whole game.
Our process took us down multiple procedural design routes that would allow Guerrilla to take our work and expand upon it as well as building it into a Realtime game environment.
The majority of our design research went into developing textural geometric patterns that could transition between multiple states in an organic fashion, whilst feeling like it was designed by a machine.
