FIOS ON DEMANDFIOS ON DEMAND
A series of interstitial idents for Verizon’s Fios On Demand service, built around a single camera system that moves through different genre environments while maintaining consistent scale and pacing.

Verizon required a series of interstitial idents to support promotions across nine different genres on its Fios On Demand service.
Each ident needed to reflect its genre clearly, while still feeling part of a single, cohesive system. The challenge was to differentiate without fragmenting the overall package.

We approached the system through cinematic reference. Each genre was shaped by visual cues drawn from well-known film styles, allowing them to feel distinct without relying on overt or literal interpretation.
To maintain consistency, we defined a fixed camera rig and motion that could scale across environments of very different sizes. This allowed the same movement and pacing to carry through each ident, whether set in a confined interior or a large open space.
Typography was treated as a physical element within each scene, interacting with the environment and anchoring the composition. Sets were then developed around this, with subtle references and details used to reinforce each genre.

The result is a set of idents that feel varied in tone while remaining consistent in structure.
By grounding each piece in a shared motion system, the package holds together as a whole while allowing each genre to establish its own identity.
