HYPERBOOTHYPERBOOT
The launch film for Hyperice’s Hyperboot, co-directed with someform Studio, introduces the product by linking its compression technology to Hyperice’s Normatec system through a series of abstract sequences that build toward the product reveal.

Hyperice set out to introduce the Hyperboot — a new product that combines wearable footwear with the company’s established Normatec compression technology. Developed in collaboration with Nike, the device uses heat and dynamic air compression to support athletic warm-up and recovery.
While the product resembles footwear, it is fundamentally a recovery device built around compression technology. The launch film needed to communicate this clearly, connecting Hyperice’s existing Normatec system with the introduction of the Hyperboot.
We worked with someform Studio to develop a visual narrative that could introduce the technology while positioning the Hyperboot as the next step in performance recovery.

The film unfolds through a series of abstract vignettes that visualise pressure, airflow and expansion. Rather than revealing the product immediately, the narrative begins with the Normatec compression system before gradually building toward the full reveal of the Hyperboot.
This approach allowed the technology to lead the story, framing the product as a natural evolution of Hyperice’s recovery systems.
As production progressed, the team worked with evolving prototypes. Close collaboration with Hyperice ensured materials, finishes and behaviour were represented accurately while the product design continued to develop.

The final film introduces the Hyperboot through a visually driven narrative that moves between technology and product. By linking the familiar Normatec system with the new device, the story positions the Hyperboot as both a continuation of Hyperice’s recovery technology and a new category of wearable performance equipment.
The result is a launch film that celebrates innovation in motion while clearly communicating the technology behind the product.
